Hunter Rose Ltd was created when Ruth Hunter and Paul Rose recognised a shared frustration with how housing too often fails people as their needs change.
Ruth brings deep experience in property, renovation, and delivering projects that unlock value, while Paul Rose brings decades of hands-on expertise in accessibility, adaptation, and working with disabled people, families, and and public-sector stakeholders as well as also being a property developer.
Alongside them, Paul Hunter brings his experience in project management, overseeing delivery on site and ensuring each project is run efficiently and to a high standard.
Together, they work with a trusted network of professionals and trades to do things differently, modernising existing homes to support independence, dignity, and long-term living. Hunter Rose is the result: a practical, purpose-led approach to creating homes that genuinely work for real lives
Ruth Hunter is a property entrepreneur and housing advocate focused on creating homes that support independence at every stage of life. Her work spans property investment ,developments and renovation, with a particular emphasis on supported living and accessible, adaptable design for those with mobility issues and ageing in place. Ruth is also an international speaker and the founder of Accessible Housing Matters UK Podcast where she works with industry professionals to challenge how homes are designed, adapted, and brought to market.

Paul Rose is an accessibility consultant specialising in creating practical, well-designed access and adaptation solutions across residential and commercial settings. His work spans consultancy, surveying, and project collaboration, supporting wheelchair users and disabled people through close engagement with local authorities, housing associations, occupational therapists, architects, and builders. Paul brings grounded, real-world insight into how homes and buildings can better support independence through thoughtful, inclusive design.
